White chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies


Mmm... chewy and perfect.


From BHG Cookbook

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 t. baking soda
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 12oz. package of white chocolate chips
3-6 oz. macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

Cream butter and shortening; beat in sugars and baking soda, then eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour; stir in white chocolate and macadamia nuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
