Cranberry Sauce, part 1: Whole Berry

This was a bit of a revelation... I'd only had the kind straight out of a can before.  Which is fine.  This, however, is almost as easy as opening a can and is much brighter tasting-- fresher, more tart.  Just tastier.

This recipe is straight off the side of a bag of Ocean Spray cranberries

Ingredients
12 oz (3 c.) fresh cranberries
1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Directions
1.  Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.

2.  Add cranberries; reduce heat.  Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3.  Pour into bowl; cool to room temperature.  Cover and refrigerate until serving.
